About Lee

The Man - A legend in the making!  Exuding confidence and fiercely competitive Lee is seen here after a successful trio of races at the Essex Arena recently.

Lee's keen interest in racing started in 1995.  Then in 1997 he became a mechanic for Geoff Simpson "3" Pickup Trucks.
1999 saw Lee competing in his first race in the 1600 Hotrods at Ringwood Raceway.
In 2002 Lee became mechanic for acclaimed driver Mark Willis '65' racing National Hotrods.  Lee quickly proved himself with Mark and in 2003 he was appointed Crew Chief and mechanic for Mark racing Pickup Trucks, a winning combination that continues today.

'56'
 Starting life as a twinkle in Lee's eye, '56' began conception as some carefully cut and shaped steel tubes in 2002.
'56' was properly born in 2004 and the Outlaw Hotrod made her debut on the race circuits as a car to be reckoned with.
